Jason - Founder | President
Jason Huber, founder and owner of Huber Homes, brings nearly 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Before founding Huber Homes in 2021, Jason held Vice President–level Sales and Operations roles with two large North American home builders, gaining extensive experience in construction, leadership, and project delivery.
Driven by a desire to offer a more personal and transparent building experience, Jason established Huber Homes to focus on quality, strong relationships, and hands-on involvement. He remains closely involved in every project, from early planning through final completion, ensuring each home reflects the standards the company is known for.
Jason works alongside a small, dedicated team and a trusted network of Calgary’s top architects, designers, and skilled trades. These long-standing relationships help ensure consistency, accountability, and attention to detail throughout every build. His experience spans all aspects of residential construction, including high-end renovations, custom home builds, and inner-city multi-family projects across Calgary.
Melissa - Partner | Operations & Client Experience
Melissa is an integral member of the Huber Homes team, supporting the day-to-day operations and overall client experience. She oversees accounts receivable and payable, office management, and client onboarding, ensuring each project is supported by clear systems and organized processes from the start.
A key part of Melissa’s role includes guiding clients through onboarding and introducing them to Huber Homes’ construction management platform. This helps establish clear communication, organized documentation, and a smooth experience throughout the build.
Melissa brings nearly 30 years of professional experience in health care, including leadership roles in public health. Her background in working closely with people, managing complex systems, and leading teams adds a thoughtful, client-focused perspective to her role at Huber Homes.
Having built and designed homes for her own family over the years, Melissa understands the importance of creating a home that supports family life, comfort, and long-term living. This perspective helps ensure each client experience is both well managed and genuinely cared for.


Steve - Project Supervisor
Steve joined the Huber Homes team in 2026 and brings over 13 years of experience in residential construction and custom home building. His background includes holding progressive leadership roles with a custom home builder—spanning service and warranty management, site supervision, and construction management—followed by five years owning and operating an excavation company. This combination gives him a well-rounded perspective and deep understanding of both the builder and trade sides of the industry.
As Project Manager, Steve oversees projects from start to finish, coordinating trade partners, managing schedules and timelines, and maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the build. His hands-on experience allows him to anticipate challenges, problem-solve efficiently, and keep projects moving smoothly.
Known for his practical approach and strong communication skills, Steve plays a key role in ensuring each project is well organized, carefully managed, and aligned with Huber Homes’ standards of quality and professionalism.
Ava - Social Media and Digital Content
Ava supports Huber Homes' digital presence while completing her studies at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She manages the company's social media platforms, creates digital content, and helps showcase the projects, people, and craftsmanship that define Huber Homes.
Through photography, video, content creation, and brand management, Ava helps maintain a consistent online presence that reflects the values of Huber Homes. Her work provides clients and the community with an authentic look behind the scenes while celebrating the quality and care invested in every project.
With a creative perspective and an eye for detail, Ava plays an important role in ensuring Huber Homes' brand is presented professionally and consistently across every platform.
